Postcards...from the Road
As we travel, we want to remember where we go, what we see, and what we do. What better way to remember our journey than to collect postcards along the way?
Each time a new web site or tool is introduced, the group collects postcards to add to their Road Trip albums. The back of each postcard has a place to jot notes, an icon representing the site, and a QR code linking to the site.
Although we have a Road Trip web site (http://roadtrip12.weebly.com) for easy reference, we feel it is important for this group to have a tangible resource to keep handy as they explore new tools. Participants love this touch!
We explore over 40 tools in two days (We may have broken the speed limit a time or two.) The idea is to expose this group to a variety of tools, give them resources to reference as they explore them, and provide a way to ask questions and share ideas over the summer.
